Artificial intelligence helps us produce and maintain this website. It does not decide what is true about our products. Everything published on svago.com is reviewed and approved by a member of the Svago team, who is accountable for its accuracy.

This page explains exactly where AI is involved, and where it is not.

Product photography and imagery

Every Svago chair shown on this site is photographed. We do not generate our products.

AI tools may be used to:

• create or replace backgrounds and room settings
• remove dust, cables, seams, and studio equipment from a photograph
• adjust lighting, sharpen, or increase the resolution of a photograph
• assemble lifestyle scenes from photographed elements

AI tools are never used to:

• generate a Svago chair or any part of one
• change a chair's shape, proportions, dimensions, or mechanism
• change the leather, stitching, wood, hardware, or upholstery you will receive
• add or remove anything included with the product

Where an image is a composite, an illustration, or a rendering rather than a straight photograph, we label it on the product page. Screens vary, so leather and wood tones may look slightly different in person; the specification and finish information provided with each product is the authority on color and materials.

Written content

We use AI tools to help draft and edit written material on this site, including product descriptions, blog articles, email, and search summaries. A Svago team member reviews, edits, and approves every piece before it is published and is responsible for its accuracy. AI does not publish to this site on its own.

Articles that discuss comfort, posture, or health are additionally checked against our source material before they go live, and carry a named author and a review date.

Health and wellness information

Our chairs are designed around the zero-gravity, or neutral body, position — a reclined posture that raises the legs above the heart and distributes body weight across a wider area. What we say about this posture draws on published third-party research into zero-gravity positioning generally. It is not based on clinical testing of Svago chairs, and we do not present it as though it were.

Svago products are furniture. They are not medical devices. We do not claim that any Svago product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease or condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a back, hip, circulatory, or other medical condition, please speak with your physician about whether a reclining chair is right for you.

Individual experience varies. Where we describe how a chair feels, or what owners report, we mean exactly that — reported experience, not a guaranteed outcome.

Our chat assistant

The chat window on svago.com is powered by an AI assistant. It identifies itself as an AI assistant at the start of every conversation. You can ask for a person at any time and we will connect you with a member of our team.

The assistant answers from approved Svago information. It does not set prices, promise delivery dates, interpret warranty coverage, or give medical advice — those come from a person. If the assistant tells you something that turns out to be incorrect, our published terms, product specifications, and warranty govern, and we will make it right.

Conversations are retained so that we can improve our answers and resolve any question about what was said.

Customer reviews

We do not use AI to write, generate, embellish, or rewrite customer reviews. Reviews on this site were submitted by customers in their own words.

We may use AI to summarize what reviewers say. Any such summary is labeled as an AI summary of customer reviews.

We do not remove or hide reviews because they are critical, we do not filter what is displayed by star rating, and we do not offer payment, discounts, or gifts in exchange for a positive review.

What we never use AI for

• Creating a customer, review, testimonial, or endorsement that did not come from a real person
• Presenting a generated human likeness as a real Svago customer or employee without saying so
• Inventing a statistic, study, credential, certification, or award
• Producing before-and-after imagery that implies a health outcome
• Making a medical or therapeutic claim about a Svago product

If you want to know whether a particular image or article involved AI, or you believe something on this site is inaccurate, write to support@svago.com and we will tell you. When we find something wrong, we correct it.
