This chair is Heavenly bliss!

I was looking for a chair that I could truly relax in and this has met my expectations! I appreciate how well made it is and how smooth it operates. I thought I might regret not getting top grain leather, but I haven't missed that as the material on the ZGR is plenty comfortable., appears durable and is very attractive (looks like leather). I also wondered beforehand if I would regret getting the lumbar support pillow vs the built in lumbar support, but I haven't. It seems as if the lumbar pillow was made especially for me as it is a perfect support as is the head pillow. My favorite feature is the heat function. To sit and relax and then have that soothing heat on my entire backside is bliss. There are two things I would change if I could but can see why Svago hasn't done so. The first is that the seating area is wide enough for someone twice my size or more and that leaves a gap between my body and the arms of the chair. If I sleep in the chair, I bring two small pillows to put on each side of my body to more comfortably rest my arms. Svago couldn't feasibly enlarge the arm rests as it would interfere with the recline of the chair and if the seating area was narrower it would limit who could use it. Another thing I found a bit bothersome at first is that I would inadvertently press buttons when getting in the chair or moving around. I found the solution to be leaving the control on the floor just right of the chair and then reaching for it to set up positioning etc. and then putting the control back on the floor until I'm ready to move again. I know some manufacturers put a pocket on the side of the chair for this purpose. I can see where having such would affect the aesthetics of the chair. I appreciate how strong and smooth the motor is. I like how the heat setting goes off automatically in 1 hr. and the massage in 15 minutes. I like how turning the power button off brings me back to home position quite quickly. I like how the ZG button takes me quickly to zero gravity. I like how I can then adjust my angle to sit up a bit for reading when I want to. I am satisfied with this chair and have no regrets in getting it. I shopped around and this was the best-valued zero gravity chair from a respected manufacturer I could find. It took 2-3 weeks (Christmastime) to receive but was packaged extremely well and was easy to assembly once out of the box only requiring a few easy steps

How this differs from a traditional recliner: Unlike the traditional recliner, this chair does not allow changing the angle between the seat and back. So if you like to sit upright on occasion, forget it. It has 2 adjustments, body tilt and leg support angle. It is electrically powered, and moves slowly as alignment changes, unlike manual chairs which respond instantly. It obviously won't work if the power goes out. So if you are reclining and you need to get up to answer the phone, you might not make it in time. I wouldn't recommend this chair for short people. The front edge is 20" high in the home position. There are memories for 2 positions. The control has an on/off button, and if you turn it off, the chair returns to the home position. It has a vibrator which rotates through 3 positions, shoulder, mid and lower back, then whole body. It operates in spurts -- zzz -- zzz -- zzz that have nothing to do with the positions. There is a heater that will automatically turn off in 1 hour. There is a "wake up timer" that can be set from 1 to 6 hours in 1 hour increments. When time is up, the vibrator will start and the chair will move to home position. :)) We had no trouble unpacking and setting it up -- 2 people, less than 15 minutes. It weighs a little over 100 lbs. We are enjoying the chair, though it takes a little time to get used to it. When you tilt it back it seems like the Astronaut position for blast off! Very comfortable. I would like to have been able to adjust the angle between seat and back. BTW, delivery was annoying. It arrived at Saia's warehouse early Friday AM. I though, "Boy! we'll get it today!" By 2 PM it was still there and I called. It was scheduled to go out on Monday. Monday came and went. Tuesday, their little truck was full. It finally came Wednesday PM.

I can affirm to you that zero gravity is the most comfortable! I purchased this exact Z.G chair from another company a long time ago. The foot goes right in to chair, for easier seating. Upon seated, my Z.G confirms to every muscle; I press the electric recline lever and my chair reclines slowly. At my exact reclined position, knees are above my heart; I have heard that this is the healthiest way sit! Also my weight is distributed evenly; I'm not sitting right on butt, so that and whole body is comfortable!

My hubby got this chair ordering it through Amazon. The seller was extremely helpful to him all through the sale and delivery process. Bad news? I’m going to steal the chair from the hubby, as I LOVE IT! Oh my, it’s so comfy, supportive, and super user-friendly. I was taken aback by the Faux Leather, as it’s rather soft, pliable and comfy. The black went very well in the living room with other furniture pieces we have, so the hubby got that right as well. I let him use it in ZGR mode (zero gravity recline). I know, it’s his chair, but I am his favorite wife.

Complete lumbar relief! Firstly, the Napa leather is so supple. The massage features are very different from their predecessors with the older, and sometimes painful roller. It’s a very unique and effective massage. The heat feature completes the deep tissue healing. I'm thrilled with my purchase and had to save up for it, but the healing properties of the complete zero G relief were worth it. Fantastic customer service and prompt delivery to my living room. I highly recommend this chair!!
